Week 46: See the glowing beams of California Dreams

This week seemed to go by so fast despite it being the last week of the transfer. Usually the last week is full of suspense especially when you are almost sure that you will be transfered. Today being monday, i found out that i will be training a newbie again. i will travel to Salvador to the mission home to recieve the same training and find out who will be my new companion. then i will return back to California, Itabuna. i thought for sure i would be leaving here, but i was proved wrong. i will stay a third transfer..My companion that im with right now (elder G.Souza) will be leaving to the neighboring neighborhood to be the zone leader. its funny because i was his district leader and now he is my zone leader. Another funny thing is that Sister Snow stayed in my district which will make it the 5th transfer i´ve been with her as her district leader. CRAZY!

Im pretty excited for this new transfer. it a good chance to start fresh. its wild that im going to be training again. It should be a good challenging experience. Im expecting it to be more work than the last elder i trained. I trained Elder Da Silva and it was very smooth. He already learned everything and had it all down. So now my chance of another elder like him is rare. Im looking forward to the challenge. I cant wait to know who will be my companion. If he is gonig to be brazilian, american, mexican, australian, or who knows what. hahaha
This past week was pretty awesome. We just worked on preparing our people for baptism. Were were going to have 3 baptisms, but one of them fell through, because the lady decided she doesnt want to be baptized ´´so soon´´. She has been going to church for 3 years and says she still doesnt feel prepared. all well. We had the baptism of the other two people on Saturday. Jaciara and her daughter. I baptized the two of them. Sunday night Lorena and her mom (investigators) invited us over for a dinner since we thought for sure i was going to leave. It was a good dinner of rice and lasagna.

It´s quite funny all the drama that happened this week as everyone in the ward thought i was leaving. I got some presents, some cards, and lots of people were sad that i would leave. some people even cried. hahaha. and the call that i would train a newbie and stay was really surprising to me. Now we are planning a prank on the ward. that we are both leaving. my companion to the other area and i will go to Salvador ´´to meet my new companion´´. its all on a group chat with a large part of the ward. im at samuel´s house and his wife is setting it all up on the chat. some girls already texted her saying that other girls are crying. what drama. Its going to be funny to see everyone in church next sunday.  hahaha. im glad im not leaving this ward even though i was looking forward to getting to know a different city. Im glad i can continue to help out all the recent converts that i baptized. Shout out to Anderson Reded. He wanted me to mention his name on my blog so i did. there you go anderson! well now i´ve got to run to get ready to travel to Salvador. Sorry for the short email. You guys are awesome. have a wonderful week 😃

I also made a shirt-swap with my less-active friend Grimaldinho.

Pretty sure I can't wear this shirt on the mission, haha.  But it will be a good memory of Grimaldinho!

got some church movies from some people that they gave as a gift. also some cards.
